Our FTC community is preparing for two qualifier events on January 9th and 10th at Mountain View Middle School. Coaches, mentors, parents, students, and volunteers are coming together to plan, support, and make the events successful.

We are excited to share some great news with our team and community! First, congratulations to everyone as we prepare for two upcoming FTC qualifier events scheduled for January 9th and 10th, 2027.
Reaching this stage is an exciting opportunity for our students, coaches, mentors, parents, and volunteers. Events like these are not only about robotics competitions; they are also about teamwork, learning, problem-solving, leadership, and bringing the community together.
As we begin preparing for the qualifiers, we would like to bring everyone together to discuss our plans, responsibilities, and how we can best support the team. We are hoping to organize a meeting this coming weekend so that coaches, mentors, parents, students, and other interested members can coordinate the next steps.
Recently, We also had an opportunity to meet with the Mechanicsburg FTC team coaches and mentors to discuss the upcoming qualifier events at Mountain View Middle School. During the meeting, we talked about event preparation, volunteer opportunities, and the different types of support that may be needed to make the qualifiers successful.
Hosting and supporting an FTC event requires contributions from many people. Volunteers play an important role in helping with event organization, guiding teams, managing activities, assisting participants, and ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout the competition.
This is also a wonderful opportunity for our students to see how collaboration goes beyond building and programming robots. A successful robotics program depends on communication, responsibility, leadership, mentoring, and community involvement.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue working together to prepare for the January qualifiers. We encourage everyone who is interested in helping to participate in our planning discussions and explore available volunteer opportunities.
We look forward to an exciting journey ahead and wish all participating teams the very best for the qualifiers.
Together, we can make these FTC qualifier events a memorable experience for our students and our entire robotics community!
